Re: speaking of healthcare

So ya want to talk healthcare.....then let's do it

I, after alot of pencil pushing, thinking and praying,
Went with a medical share....it's not perfect to.
No rx coverage, unless part of treatment or cancer
Or major incident...also some limits on pre-existing,
But at least cover some. No air ambulance, so
Had to get a $80 a year membership. .but my
Cost is $180 a month, $500 per incident ""deductible"",
And unlimited spending cap.
So, I switched to basaglar insulin, and with a copay
Card, $60 a month. Using a program at the local
Pharmacy, goodrx, blink healthcare, RxOutreach,
My meds I get 90 supply. For all of those average
$40 a month total. For testing strips, I get for 16
Cents each, pen needles $11 a box, all included
Free shipping thru diathrive.com
I may be switching to mysugar, where you get
Unlimited test strips, and auto logging update
Meter via Bluetooth to smart phone to a certified
Diabetes educator, and unlimited consult.
$49 a month, it can also link with I health monitor
Devices, which will log, and upload my weight,
Glucose, bp, sao2, temp, activity, and quality
Of sleep, and pulse rate..you just need to buy
Devices. For my irregular heartbeat once in a while,
Alivecor device $100 and $100 per year...labs,
I can order thru walk in labs, which is connected
To LabCorp and quest. Before checkups, I have
To travel 120 miles RT, and have a big profile
Done...my cost $120...thru clinic $500 plus.
(Most states allow using walk in labs, and order
Yourself)
My ultrasounds, MRI and CT...I don't use local.
I use mdsave and healthcare bluebook...
Example, my ultrasounds locally $450+
Using the above, run me $205 ...my CT
About $300, local $1000, MRI $410, local
$1300 plus !!!
So here is the deal....my BCBS was going to $700
A month, $6500 deductible....so I had to pay
All of it, $15,000 before kick in
Now, $180 a month, $150 a month meds, and roughly
$4000 labs, radiology, Dr visits.. about $8400....
While I was paying $15,000 !!!
While not perfect, in a couple of years my pre-existing
Goes away.
There are 2 better, but don't cover pre-existing the
First year..some look very similar regular
Insurance

So ....so what are you wanting to tell me about ?

Re: speaking of healthcare

Some of us have to

It's not fun

Seems to me someone said ""your insurance
Will be so much cheaper and you'll love it"".

About someone said Mexico will pay for the wall
