Re: taxing the rich

exactly, and if the rich man drives more miles, he pays more taxes...and the same if the poor man uses more highway miles, more taxes, so the rich

gets a more fair shake than the poor?

Re: taxing the rich

So, why don't we simply take everything from everyone, keep what the government needs, and divide what is left with everyone?

In 2017 married filing jointly you(and everyone) had a standard deduction of $12700. So on the first $12700 you earn you end up paying no income tax. If you make $20,800 that leaves $8,100 that gets wiped out with your two exemptions $4,050 each. You're at $20,800 and no tax.

Re: taxing the rich

I didn't suppose I needed to list all the expenses...I did mention other drivers insurances...now owner operator, question the out of state

personal property tax, that is what some custom harvesters try by leaving machinery in the north country where taxes are less, apparently.

and just to add to your disgust, MY tags for farm heavy weight vehicles are almost half those of commercial...BUT I'm NOT hauling every day

all year to make a living out of a truck...

that name doesn't ring a bell, and ooida means what?  guessing you are running under another's authority?

Re: taxing the rich

lol...

must be one old grumpy one, or a better half has a better job than you do?  How much are the dues to the independent drivers association?

like, you can move? if you don't like it move, NEWS today is retirees are leaving Kansas because the dems want to stick more tax on social security

to be paid to the state...robbers elected to stimulate socialism.

No, the price on the tags is reflection that I stated, Bossleman and Blue Beacon don't offer any "benefits" according to tags that I know of.
