For us peons in the peanut gallery to talk about a $1 trillion coin is one thing, but just how serious is this Nobel prize winning "economist" about it?

Actually Bernanke has in a way been minting a $1 trillion coin each year, by buying $85 billion in bonds that no one else will, each month.
