the collapse of theories
https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/lockdown-paradigm-collapsing
Meanwhile, in Congressional hearings, Representative James Jordan (R-OH) demanded that Dr. Fauci account for why closed Michigan has worse disease prevalence than neighboring Wisconsin which has long been entirely open. Fauci pretended he couldn’t hear the question, couldn’t see the chart, and then didn’t understand. Finally he just sat there silent after having uttered a few banalities about enforcement differentials.
The lockdowners are now dealing with the huge problem of Texas. It has been fully open with no restrictions for 6 weeks. Cases and deaths fell dramatically in the same period. Fauci has no answer. Or compare closed California with open Florida: similar death rates. We have a full range of experiences in the US that allow comparisons between open and closed and disease outcomes. There is no relationship.

Re: Actually, if you would bother to look at the data ......
... you'd see that there is a pretty good relationship between measurable parameters, things like mask use and social distancing and infections per M population and deaths per M. It's just that there really that much difference between say, California or Texas & Florida. Mask use in Texas & Florida is about 70% while California is 79%, likewise, social distance (cellphone data) for California is a little better -25% as opposed to -20% for Texas & Florida. Deaths per M are 1547, 1608 & 1721 for CA, FL, & TX respectively.
You want to know who's done really well, Vermont, 86% mask use, 348 deaths per M.
Obviously, there are major differences among states as per initial population density (urban vs. rural) that account for much of the outcomes. And just as obviously, you can call for a lockdown but if you don't enforce it, it won't work.
As far as lockdowns go, you just have to look at NYC last spring. An enforced lockdown brought daily new infections from more than 10,000 per day down to less than 1000 per day within a month & a half.
So, stop making ridiculous comments completely unsupported by any data.

It’s what they do - over and over and over again.

Look around the world and you'll find lockdowns and masks orders show no correlation to the trends. Places without and places with showing the same and showing dissimilar trends. Fauci himself couldn't explain it. You need to stop being anti science.
