Re: So you're saying
I think tariffs might be the only option as long as business selects the lowcost producer. We have tried the tax cutting for 30 years and I'm not sure if it produced any jobs.
First one must conclude that the best environment for business is a clientele with money in their pockets. I simply don't get itthat farmers prefer that their customers be short of cash. They seem to be against any pay raise for laboring folks whether it be minimum wage or not.

Re: thank God the elections are honest, right?
I think if you reckonized the way elections are managed by the individual states that it is virtually impossible to fix the ballot count unless you tamper with the computers and that don't mean just Ohio but more states than that.

Re: thank God the elections are honest, right?
Have you guys been asleep for the last 30 years?
I can see you writing in a vote, but voting for Mrs. Clinton?
Survey shows that over93% of active farmers are NOT
going to vote for Mrs. Clinton....how do you feel being part
of the 7% that is not paying attention?

Re: thank God the elections are honest, right?
The wrong part of that list is the idea that half the country is subsidized.. and the usual foolish follow up about farmers getting subsidies which is just yak yak...
I am pretty sure that at least 90% of the population of the US is getting financial support from the federal government. The town I live in is building some new schools and it passed because the feds and state are paying half the bill.
New sidewalks down town came on a federal grant. Most of the population has libraries, roads, recreational facilities, universities to attend, social security benefits beyond what they actually paid in,,, Mail service, communications, community entertainment, public health care, emergency services
An endless list of things provided to every citizen from federal and state budgets....... including police and fire protections that rural residents do not get to the same degree. Safe drinking water, and sewer services that are not provided to all rural residents.
Its america, we are all fat and lazy and paid to vote for whomever gives us the most kickback cash. And we tend to vote for the candidate that does not have enough backbone to tell us NO.

Re: thank God the elections are honest, right?
The BTO get 10s if not 100s of 1,000s. My son who raised bucket calves gets zero. Socialism is for the rich funded by the poor. How sad.

Maybe you better do some research
the 93% are supporting Trump, who will undoubtably cut subsidies.
The ag board members, the CSP suckers, etc. all want the status quo,
aka as Mrs. Clinton.
You are preaching to the wrong choir, or attending the wrong church.
