Re: The ‘bribe’ to silence Rev. Wright
Just a clue! The president is not responsible for what Reverend wright says. Nether was Bush responsible fot what Limbaugh says.
That is like me trying to tag you with what Ollie says. Or tag Dagwud for the nonsense you post. Got it??

Re: The ‘bribe’ to silence Rev. Wright
Did he show the email? Don't you think he would keep that email? Did he say it was from Obama, a member of Obama's staff or no name? Also, here is the context of that comment.
"The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, God **bleep** America, that's in the Bible for killing innocent people," he said in a 2003 sermon. "God **bleep** America for treating our citizens as less than human. God **bleep** America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme."
Taken out of context, it is pretty bad but not so when you put the rest of the conversation in it. That is like you saying to your neighbor who has recently pisssed you off, "if you are going to continue to do things like that, then to hell with you!"

Re: The ‘bribe’ to silence Rev. Wright
IF the bribe to silence Wright is true (which I don't have enough proof of, to believe as of right now), the bribe would be the issue.
However, unless and until someone can prove a bribe was offered, it is just more gum-bumping by an empty head.
More interesting, is that Obama mentioned hims as one of his top 3 'spiritual advisors' in an interview with Rolling Stone, which is what I belive is what prompted people to dig around the archives, to see if they could find controversial things that Wright had said.

Re: The ‘bribe’ to silence Rev. Wright
The last sentence in Rev. Wright's comment says all that is needed to know to understand what he was saying.
"...for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme." My emphasis.
