Re: I`ll make you a deal GTO.
True, but they have pay more for our brains and talent. Corporate leaders are concerned about the bottom line and their stock price. If they can get similar talent for less money, they'll take all the foreigners they can get. It's a lot like owning a dairy. If one can buy SA corn shipped in cheaper than buying locally grown corn, they're going to do it. We've witnessed several feedlots and dairies down south doing it ever since last fall. All sectors do it. About 15 years ago when natural gas was deregulated, most farmers who irrigated with natural gas which is sourced right here in the U.S. switched to diesel with half or more of the oil to produce it coming from outside the U.S. Now, a lot of those are converting back to natural gas. It's all about price. It's the same reason corporate leaders do what they do.

Same goes for the NBA
No clue why the NBA franchises think that there are a couple of NBA calibre players in the other 95% of the world that doesnt include us.
We should ship AK, Ricky Rubio, Pecovich, and Alexi, Geleballe back to where they belong. The nerve of thinking that some foreigner might have something to offer America. Anything worth doing was done 500 years ago by the Sioux.

Re: That deserves a big KUDO!
They don't like congress, they don't like the UN because they cannot tolerate losing on any issue. Most americans take the vote rather seriously, whether the eletion or a vote on legislation. Some times you win and some times you loose. These folks don't want to accept a loss. Not ever!

The trouble is you can not accept your victory.

Apathy exactly
Neither side was a good win for the nation. It was just that the winning sides rhetoric was a little more palatable
Our elected representatives need to get to work.
Everyone in Washington is kind of like the person in a debate whose entire focus is on finding the other guy wrong. Washington isn't focusing on any of the problems at all. Each side is simply concentrating on what they can say and do to make the other side look more wrong than they are. No answers that way.
Obama's sotus was all rhetoric and both Rubio and Paul's responses were gibberish

Re: Apathy exactly
My thoughts exactly.
Neither side wants to work with the other, even on the things they claim they are both for.
For example, tax reform. Both sides say they want to close loopholes for special interests, but every year, both sides include their own special interest loopholes.

You can't work with people who say we don't have a spending problem. They can't face reality.
