Re: Scientific concensus on climate change?

Doesn't matter. Obama has decided we are going to pay more for energy so he will inact his policies through the faceless, unaccountable EPA. Science be damned.

Re: Scientific concensus on climate change?

So you do not want to look at the results from the specialists in the field then look at the results from all the respondents from many different fields.

From your link

Results show that overall, 90% of participants

answered “risen” to question 1

and 82% answered yes to question 2. In

general, as the level of active research

and specialization in climate science

increases, so does agreement with the two

primary questions (Figure 1). In our survey,

the most specialized and knowledgeable

respondents (with regard to climate

change) are those who listed climate science

as their area of expertise

That would still seem like a consensus.

Only group that did not show a big consensus was the general public with only a 58% agreeing to temperature rising.

So who you going to believe?

Re: Scientific concensus on climate change?

Interesting link, thanks Hawken.

Lots of teaser info, guess you have to buy his book to get deeper into it.

Hope he wrote his ideas up for peer review and see what feedback he gets.

One question though he says  This website describes evidence from my group’s government-funded research

 http://www.drroyspencer.com/global-warming-natural-or-manmade/

Do you think we can trust it if the government funded it? Smiley WinkSmiley WinkSmiley Very Happy
