Bart, the wars are just, necessary, and on going. You are correct about the unbridled spending of the Bush administration, especially medicare drug and education. You are wrong on tax cuts, the highest revenue to the treasury ever was in 07. The financial mess was caused by banks lending money to people they knew would never pay it back. A practice that is still going on. We need to repeal the community reinvestment act.

Many of the RINO have been sent packing, this is not the GOP of the Bush administration. Hopefully they will put a bridle on the spending.

Maybe the war in Afghanistan and that wouldn't still be going on if bush/cheney hadn't diverted the effort to invade Iraq on a bunch of bull scat.  Saddam was NOT a threat at that time.  You guys all spout defending people's liberty and freedom except in places that doesn't have anything we want/need.  Saddam could have waited.  He wasn't going anywhere nor was he going to do anything.  By committing troops to riding the world of that despot, he allowed OBL to get away and now we have a bigger, more problematic war in Afghanistan (remember Russia?  Remember VietNam?) than we would have had.  This isn't the bush GOP?  Get real!  Your man bonehead from Ohio very clearly stated their plan last week and it utilizes EVERYTHING that was going on during the bush years--that DIDN'T work!  Yeah, that's a plan alright.  You think the tea party is going to do anything?  They will truly have to have a miracle happen if they do.  Good luck with that!

You guys have been saying that since he announced he would run for the office.  What's new?  You can't deny that bush/cheney started this no matter how you want to cut it.  He had the biggest, best chance to put everything in order but he chose not to with his invasion, virtual stoppage of the obl search and putting tax cuts in place at a time when he was spending like an idiot.  GNP numbers just don't add up under bonehead's "Pledge to America".  It is more like "we did it to you once and we will do it again".
