I don't think we have robots in govt employ but we do in the manufacturing sector which would account for many less human workers which would in turn widen the gap between public and private numbers which is what the post was about.

Government  workers do not add to the treasury.  They only take.  Be it federal or state.  The more government wokers the more money the treasurey needs but doesn't get.
