Annual training?? I think you are confusing regular military with reserves and national guard. Regular army trains 5-7 days a week almost every week of the year!!

Don’t know much about Ellison and the woman, from Illinois and have enough issues to worry about other states political people. 

You keep bringing up how up how bad the other party’s people are instead of saying enough with how the current administration is jerking the nation around. Just because someone else did something that was wrong doesn’t give the green light to others to do the same. But in your eyes Trump can continue with his idiot behavior because he is your guy.  Something wrong is wrong no matter who does it.  If Ellison runs for a national position and continues to support the idiot Farrakhan, he will lose my vote

"We continue to be concerned about individuals along the caravan route. In fact, over 270 individuals along the caravan route have criminal histories, including known gang membership," the statement said. "Those include a number of violent criminals – examples include aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, armed robbery, sexual assault on a child, and assault on a female."

A DHS spokesperson told the Washington Examiner the 270 had previously been convicted, not just charged.

"We also continue to see individuals from over 20 countries in this flow from countries such as Somalia, India, Haiti, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh. There is a large segment of this population that we know nothing about and we must be prepared to defend our border and enforce our laws to protect the citizens of our country," the department said.

Officials put the number of people in the two caravans from Central American countries at 6,500 total. Both caravans are making their way north through Mexico.

The number of regular army has been greatly reduced and replaced with reserves and national guard. Same goes for the air force. After 911 the gov found out they were a better bang for the buck and as good at doing the job as the supposed regulars...
