FMD in their cattle
Diagnosed this week in China.
And breaking with 4 to 5 new out breaks per day of African swine fever.
things look tough in China...their consumers are scared out of pork now because of the African swine fever.
Roll yourself a corte and watch the smoke rings disappear.
The Fire is now lit for the USA beef market.
notch your hat and hold on tight.
No direct tariff effect, however
On cattle or beef,
the indirect tariff effect though is long term bullish cattle / beef.
keep in mind the whole USA tariff deal is a global Wreck for hogs and poultry both.
soo the alternatives left are more beef and seafood consumption globally.
Re: No direct tariff effect, however
But, if I`m in China making $4/hr, am I gonna blow it on a $14/lb ribeye or $5lb hamburger or just buy chicken and pork like Mama San used to do?
* beef, once it takes the boat ride to China will probably be higher than the above prices in their market.
Re, Beef Broth works
great on noodles also works out to $16000 per head processed.
theres more Bentleys and Rolls Royces sold in China than anywhere...and BMWs etc too...so your $4 per hour scenario is made up hog wash. Get Real. Mo
irregardless, there's other countries that buy a lot of beef.
as I'm sure you know this is a record beef export year ongoing in the USA.
as of June USA had sold over $4 billion of beef exported...the last record was 2010 at $1 billion sold by June that year.
Re: So your smart enough to
You`re implying that China is this great untapped potential to sell filet Mignon ….they are a communist nation with human rights violations and no plans to change. Yes, the top 1% that hold the guns are doing quite well I`m sure.

I was generous assigning them $4hr
