Horses Are Vicious

A Connecticut court has determined that horses are a naturally vicous and mischeivous species.

How will that affect your insurance rates?  🙂

Sorry for posting in Cattle, but no other livestock any better and at least you can chase cows with cayuses.

Re: Horses Are Vicous

I have no love for the beasts and tend to agree with the court.

Don't care to get any closer to one of them than the third row at Arlington.

Re: Horses Are Vicous

Yup, horses are onery.

They injure themselves on wire fences, yet eat wooden ones.'

If they get out, they have been known to chase cows around, just for fun.

They have a place, and they tend to like human companionship, but if left alone too long, they get onery.   I don't know if it is because they are lonesome, or if it is because they just have too much energy that needs burning off.

Re: Horses Are Vicious

Horses are a critter where you either love em or hate em.  Seems like they have become more of a recreational animal than a work animal.

Re: Horses Are Vicious

They are just another tool in the box. If you treat them with due respect and use them where needed, they are a very useful tool. When you look at them as a companion animal that needs to be petted, things happen.
A horse is not a machine that does exactly what you tell it, it's a living, breathing, thinking animal. Maybe the boy should be ruled as mischievous for touching another persons property...
