Is This Woody Tongue?

This is one of the animals that we have that I have some concerns about. After noticing a lackluster attitude and the saggy skin under her jaw, we decided to pull and treat her.

Her temperature was 105F. She has been averaging .95# of gain per day since we purchased her, and she currently weighs 449#.

We gave her a shot of penicillin.

Does this look like woody tongue or something else?

2-3 week treatment of penicillin ''' might ''' remedy  the condition, I have read ---

The heifer showed some improvement on Sunday, so we gave her another shot of Penicillin.  Hopefully she will recover.
