sent steers to market today   946 lb   brought $1.24

heifers  bunch weighed 685 lb and brought $1.36.....

Kind of odd right now in the SW...... 6 months of drought and grower lots are full with stuff hoping for grass someday.  feedlots are the only buyers.   Cows seem cheap....

If the cattle market does not get with it price wise.....that might be a good song to play while walking away.
