Spayed Heifers. Good or bad idea?
From the viewpoint of feeding out, does the increased feed efficiency justify the increased purchase price?
I read an article that was very positive toward spaying heifers, but it also mentioned that 1% death loss was common.
Just curious to read what other people’s viewpoints and experiences were.
