I don't know MacAfee. But, I'd think that any such program should isolate or quarantine if not delete that kind of malware. I use Avast, the free version. It will delete them. If you download Avast, be very careful in reading the download instructions because they kind of "hide" the version that is free. It's all you need. Don't pay for one.
