Re: Arkansas Dicamba Ban

I'd support such a ban in Iowa.   Might quibble a bit with the dates, but not too bad.

This ban would seem to me to pretty much put the kibosh on dicamba as a weapon against later season waterhemp and Palmer Amaranth, which seem to me to be the main targets of the newer formulations.  If you don't use it for that purpose, is there an overriding reason to use it?

The new Engenia label is quite restrictive.  3-10 mph window.  Applicator has to take boom height win speed and direction and temperature readings before and after the job.  Has to record them.  It would seem to me that commercial applicators will find these restrictions onerous.  Maybe they'll choose to not use Engenia.  It will be interesting to see.
