Adjusting P & K levels
Just chatted with some crop consultants at a meeting here in Des Moines. One topic this afternoon was nutrient levels, specifically P & K and whether or not you can get by with trimming how much you apply and how to do it without harming yield potential.
So, anybody trimming P & K levels this year to save a few bucks, or going all-out with inputs like that to maximize what you can get out of every acre?

Re: Adjusting P & K levels
Not sure yet. But leaning towards the idea of just biting the bullet and doing as usual as fertilizer is about $130 a ton more than last fall with no sign of dropping.
