We raise quite a few in NE north dakota, so I don't know how relevant our experience to OK. We raise oils and almost exclusively pioneer N82. They are express tolerant which makes a huge difference for us with a few difficult weeds. If Spartan is labeled down there i would recomend that for pre-emerge, no incorporation required and excellent kochia and pigweed control. We plant 25- 27000, any more and we get very small heads, in drier areas they go with a lower pop. Good luck, they can be a major pain in the ass but usually pay well.
