Australian freeze & drought
I read and Australian article that a couple weeks ago that they had the worst freeze since 1952 and yesterday they said that the drought is the worst since 1901-1902. The losses are 50% on the cotton crop and grains were also damaged from the freeze and no major change expected on the drought till Oct. I was was wondering why such an event is not known or talked about in the "wheat circle," since they are the third mojor exporter of wheat, U.S. being No. 1
Re: Australian freeze & drought
We've been wondering ourselves why they stopped reporting wheat news on this site. Evidentally there aren't enough of us wheat producers who frequent the site to justify it. Just a guess, could be something else but mums the word of the past several weeks.
