Branded fertilizers

All,

Have any of you used any "branded" or "speciality" fertilizers? I struggle for the right term, but these are the fertilizers that go under a brand name rather than a generic 28% UAN or 10-34-0 formulation. Often, they are advertised as being more plant-available than generic fertilizers.....and more expensive, too, on a per pound of plant nutrient basis. 

Just curious if you have used them and if you see any advantage to using them.

I've always been skeptical of these and have never used them.  Often, they seem to me to be pushed hard by aggressive agronomy input suppliers.

Right on Jim. Same thing up here...Nort. Cen. Wi.  Every year seems like miracle product comes along and usually tried by many only to produce NO  more bushels in the bin.
