I don't quite have the chemical experience that most of you have so I've got a question. Can I tank mix 2 different brands of the same chemical? For example, can I mix dicamba from company brand A with dicamba from company brand B? I've got two different brands of dicamba as well as 6# Ester 2,4-D. This should only affect 1 maybe 2 tank mixed loads. When I use the remaining of last years left over brands I'm going to have quantity for a partial load. I don't think the dicamba & Ester will run out on the same load, so I will possibly have two different tank mixed loads. My chemical Rep. Told me to avoid tank mixing different brands if at all possible but that's where the conversation ended. If I must leave the yard with a partial load so be it, but was hoping it wouldn't make much difference.

That is hard to say Shaggy , I would think you would be OK -----BUT --- to me here --- two options , play it safe ( as you said ) and spray it out on 2 loads , OR get yourself a clean bucket , add water and the 2 different dicamda's --- mix well and see what happen's , if it turn's to paste --- don't do it -- lol
BTW I have seen product's do that = what a mess ! BTW I didn't do that - lol

Thanks guys, thats all I needed to hear.
You can generally mix most hormone herbicides quite freely. I am often using hormone mixtures which are ready mixed formulations, IE Headland Transfer which is MCPA, Dicamba and Mecoprop-p. In the UK there are a variety of products of this kind.
Different brands etc, might have differing adjuvant or wetting packages but you would be unlikely to have a problem.
I would not worry, however do not add any chemistry to a sprayer tank until it is at least 1/3rd full of water.
Also with hormones it is very important you do not try to tank mix any kind of nutrient foliar feed containing MANGANESE as some kinds will react with hormone/phenoxy products to form a jelly which will not be fun to remove from a sprayer.
Someone say some stuff turns to jelly,
Hey they might be onto something.
Imagine if we could thin it out, we

Ok I'll shut up now.
No, you just get blocked filters.
