Chemical Question
I am leaving some standing wheat stubble so I can no-till milo into it next spring. I am new to no-till, so my question is what chemical should I use on the stubble to keep it clean from volunteer wheat as well as weeds? I don't think straight glyphosate is the proper way to go.

Re: Chemical Question
In Ohio..they recommend you spray wheat stubble in the fall with glyphosate and 2,4-D (around or after first frost) if you have perennial weeds to kill. If you want a residual..I'm not too sure. The only thing I know of that volunteer wheat doesn't like...and is usable on milo is atrazine..and I believe you're after the date that it can be legally applied.
