We are looking at buying a pull type sprayer and do our own spraying. Though we are not that familiar with all the chemicals. What is the best way to learn besides just doing it. Any good resources to plan our spraying needs and what chemicals we should use or stay away from.

I don't know what state you're located in, but I just picked up the new "Weed Control Guide" from Ohio State University the other week. Purdue puts out some publications...and I'm sure Iowa does also. Check with your county extension agent to see if he's got any reference books for you. Other than that..you can access cdms.net to find all the labels available in the United States. As long as you know the exact name of the chemical..it will have the label available.
