Corn inoculants?

Anybody here tried corn inoculants such as Sabrex or Quick Roots? I have heard yield increases of 8 to10 bu... Just curious if anybody here has seen similar results.. Thanks.

Re: Corn inoculants?

I tested both when they first come out.  I use SabrEx on everything, garden seed, transplanted trees, you name it.  It always improves root growth for me.  Last year it made as much as 22 bu on a racehorse corn hybrid, usually around 12 bu average for me, similar on small grains.  QuickRoots is a different trichaderma fungus and a bacterial promotant that works well, I just settled on SabrEx as my suppliers will put it on my seed now or if they don't, the planter box formulation is low dose and very easy to use.

Re: Corn inoculants?

Thanks for the reply. I have never tried either Quick Roots or Sabrex but I think Ill give them a shot this year. A 22 Bushel gain is pretty impresive.
