Excellent Haying Weather
We are into an excellent stretch of haying weather in Mid-Western Ontario. Took off some beautiful hay in small sqaures and round bales yesterday. It is an outstanding crop.

Re: Excellent Haying Weather
I finished planting Monday and was thinking of cutting hay but rain was forecasted for Thursday. As it turned out all I got was a sprinkle but they got 1" 10 miles south of me. Now rain is forecasted for next 5-6 days. Oh well, the grains are more important than the 25 acres of hay I have.

Re: Excellent Haying Weather
Got some excellent hay off yesterday. We have about 45 acres ready for today. Looks like no rain till late Tuesday. This is the earliest we have got good dry hay off in years. How is the corn looking in your area NW?

Re: Excellent Haying Weather
The early planted corn is spotty, some good, some so-so. Some later planted corn not even out of the ground yet. Many took PP. Probably less than half the usual amount of corn here. 30-40% is my estimate.
