Hay Prices?
My neighbor had an auction to sell his standing hay. This was 25 acres of new seeding (90% alfalfa, 10% timothy). It was a very good crop. Ended up selling for $4500. This is in mid-western Ontario, Canada. What's hay prices doing in your back yard?

Re: Hay Prices?
$180 per acre. I hope that was just one cutting. I've never accually ran the numbers on hay. Seems awfully low considering what profit could be with other crops. does the buyer harvest?

Re: Hay Prices?
That is for one cutting only. Owner just collects the money.
