IN corn pics
Was out in the N test plot late yesterday - Here's a few pics .
Corn stalks are small to me - and the other neihbors are seeing the same thing - were one good wind event from driving -- VERY slow to picking it up this fall . Disease is present -
I was cutting roadsides all day yesterday and stopped at one corner to cut the tops off so we could see better - didn't need to cut them - they just broke right off - like green sanp - very brittle above the ear - well some broke off at ground level .
Ear leaf
229 units of N on this corn - more variably than I thought I would find
second leaf down .
USDA = Indiana at 187 ----------- LMAO

Re: IN corn pics
small stalks and inconsistant ears with heat shrink.........Those fields in the rain belt better not have any mold or this one is not going to make anything close to hype

Re: IN corn pics
First field I shelled came in at 160.9 - 56 test - Yesterday we shelled out 1 of the Purdue plots - it looks like right at 190 bpa - the whole field average - that counts under trees , fences , end rows - that I had cut some down for the field day - looks like it will be around 183 -185 bpa - 17.5 -- test 58.5 - after a very quick run threw the dryer .
forgot the camera in the machine last night - so no pics today .
