Late release Nitrogen
Anyone have any luck spraying a late release nitrogen product on soybeans? I was at a meeting last week where they talked about spraying a product that essentially released its nitrogen late at the pont where the plant needed it. You would spray this at about the third trifolio of the plant. We all know that most of us dont spray nitrogen because it releases rather quickly but this seems interesting.

Re: Late release Nitrogen
The agronomist at the elevator says these bean foliar feeding things will make the crop look better but rarely pays for itself. It was all the rage here in the 60s and early 70s.

Re: Late release Nitrogen
Thanks for the info. I ask because I didn't want a lot of smoke and mirrors. To young to have farmed in the 60's/70's.
