N Test Aug 2
First off - what a pretty day here in East Central In ! Man on man it could stay like this threw the fall and winter !
Well Just got in from the field , I am seeing just what I thought I would for the most part - only one surprize .
2 pass corn - still hanging in there at 266 bpa - but we need rain -- BAD
Heres the surprize -- the 210 rate droped to 203 - maybe it was just the ears i pulled ?
Aapt -N - still hanging in there tuff - at 198 bpa
90 # is going quick - as in don - at 166 bpa
2 pass corn
90 unit corn - can you say - running out of gas ? as in fast
Adapt - N -- not as bad - but will watch the yield take a hit next week .
Anyway thats class for today - lol

Thanks for the update. No surprises but what a great test plot and pics. Am anxious to see how the 210 closes out the kernal fill compared to the Adapt N.

Re: N Test Aug 2
Hey infire - did you come on ST RD 9 ? if so - you were bout 6 miles from me .
I didn't thank any pictures or counts this week - Will do some next week - I should have a better kernel set by then and be = closer to the final Guess - lol -- Also the N or lack of it will count on final yield - lower test wight and smaller kerenls - so a lot still come .
Thanks for the kind words - I really do like this kind of work -- may be a old dog - but still learning - lol

I'm sorry 3020, I was trying to have it rain on you and not ECI. Guess that new weather machine sight glass I got from DB Enterprises isn't working quite right. Felt like the adjust knob was full of db51 Superlube.
Some how that Ken always seems to end up in the middle of anything going on, invited or not.

Yes sir, came down 9 to 74 then over to 46 & in, all that just to get around that bridge out on 9 south of shelbyville. For as short on water as the guy I was dealing with was talkin your crops are hangin in there great, as for learnin aint it a shame we only get to grow 1 crop a year, take care!
