Neonicotinoid seed treatments
All,
There has been lots of press about neonicotinoid insecticide seed treatments, and their purported negative impact on honeybees. Has this impacted your use of them any this year?
Thanks,

Re: Neonicotinoid seed treatments
I don't typically use seed treatments or insecticides so this has not been an issue to me. I note with interest this Tech Times article.
It says bees get most of their insecticide exposure from homes and gardens, not crops.
"Honeybees do not spend most of their time feeding on crop plants like corn and soybean even when they live in agricultural regions, a new study has shown. The insects still get most of their pollen from trees, flowering weeds and gardens, which could explain why pesticide exposure of bees is more widespread and varied than previously thought. - See more at: http://www.techtimes.com/articles/162207/20160601/bees-get-highest-concentration-of-pesticides-from-...
