Yes it may improve our yields but will improve our bottom line? The market is already saying were awash in wheat so more production is not going to improve our market. They are talking 3 billion in sales which means it got to generate that extra cost to grow the wheat and all extra costs with increased yields like more fertility costs, marketing costs, storage costs, etc. I am not against it but market and wheat are going to have proove that this is money maker and my thoughts are its good for ag supply industry but will have very little return to the farmer once everything is all said and done. Another thought is takes ownership of seed out the farmers hands and puts into ag business sector one of the last areas of farming where the farmer is still in control of input of growing a crop. I think this happens it means it will put wheat into competition with corn for the feed market because where is this extra wheat going to go with human consumption of wheat being stable growing with world population so extra will have to go into feed market. So how will this effect the corn market too.
