Pics for Shaggy

Replanted beans from July 4th weekend have come quite a ways:

DSCF0052.JPG

They are about 18" tall now and the beans planted mid May are about 26" to 30".

Replants are flowering & setting pods:

Mid May beans are pretty much done now, just filling pods:

You can see the bottom leaves turning & a few are dropping off.

Finally got some significant moisture, about 1.5" in the past week.

Soaking in pretty fast.  Could use some of Hobby's water!!

And no Spetember frost Jenny!!

Re: Pics for Shaggy

Good looking beans 76Cat.  Hope you're able to get em in the bin with favorable weather going forward.  Just like you said, I sure could use some of that excess rain some of the Iowa boys have been receiving.  Thanks for posting, maybe a few more will do the same.

Shaggy,
Regarding posting photos on this site, do you have to downsize your photos before posting? I'm always being told the photos are too large when I attempt a photo post.

Yes, I use a photo editing program that was preinstalled on my PC. Can't remember the name of it, but I'm sure there are many small free programs available for download that will work just fine for you. Now that I think about it, might might have come with my printer software.

Re: Pics for Shaggy

Open your picture in Midrosoft Paint.

Change the size from 100% to 30% and save it.

Pic should upload then just fine.
