Soil fitness of no-till vs. conventional tillage

I've been seeing some pictures on twitter of no-till soils being more fit to plant than conventionally tilled soils.

Have you seen any difference in your area during this wet spring (at least it's been wet in central Iowa)?

I always felt and also was told by some custom farmers went I had my ground worked that my soils were 1-2 days sooner than convenionally tilled fields.
