Sorghum planting technique
Being new to farming I need to know what you use to plant grain sorghum. Planting rate is 8 - 9 lbs per acre. A corn planter or grain drill? Appreciate any help.

Re: Sorghum planting technique
You can plant with a planter or drill. With a drill you want to plug off some rows and plant 15" or wider, you will probably need slow sprockets for your drill. I try to plant 2 lbs of seed with a drill here in NW OK, just make sure you are not crushing the seed with the drill shut too tight..
