Soybean aphid insecticide effectiveness
I was at a meeting last month and visited between sessions with a crop consultant from southern Minnesota. He told me in his area that he thought insecticides were losing effectivness when being sprayed on soybean aphids last summer.
I haven't really studied this. But if you were in an area where soybean aphids were a problem this year, what's your take on if the insecticide was effective for treatment?

I`ve always had good luck with a pt of Lorsban and I have to spray aphids every year. lorban doesn`t have a long residual and one year I had to spray twice. I thought it has been high priced though $4/acre. Tried a product called Alpine for about $1.50/acre and it knocked em dead...it`s always nice to get done spraying them devils and watch em draw their last breath as you finish and leave the field
