Tiling rates
Just curious as to what is costs in different areas for have 4" drain tile installed - with either a trencher or a plow.

Probably around a buck a foot depending on how much you have to do. I haven't priced it lately so it may be more or less.

About 6 months ago my tile digger said it was $650/acre pattern tiled every 40 feet. Mains extra.

How far apart do you space the strings there? We run them 40 feet apart in our heavy clay. I knew of 1 guy heavy into vegetables who tiled every 30 feet. At your cost it would cost us over 1K an acre to tile.
