To wet to hay
Hi I am a new farm owner and I have 15 acres of hay to cut that will suitable for horses
But my field is sopping wet and I can't get enough sunny days to cut it
Any suggestions on what to do with it???

chop it, bag it, sell it to a dairy or feedlot.
ALSO the EU model of wrapping wetter bales works for very high Relative Feed Values...dairies line up to to buy it.
( have wrapped the wetter big squares for years....pays better than growing 8 corn )
just depends on what hay operators in your area have for equipment.

All according to were you are. Most hay will be so mature by now that it will have lost it's nutritional value. If so bush hog and hope for a second cutting.
