Wheat harvest for my Central Kansas farm has begun. Started cutting on Monday the 20th. So far yields have been 44-49 BPA with weights from 62-64 #/B. Looks like we have favorable harvest weather predicted up until the weekend. I am still seeing a few planters and air seeders here and there, I would imagine they are finishing milo before a few of them will double crop beans into wheat stubble.
