Wind On Corn Eastern Iowa

The wind pushed some corn sideways, but I don't think it affected yield any.

Some corn is starting to tassel.

Got 0.37 inches of rain in the wind storm Tuesday nit/Wednesday morning.

More storms forecast for Wed/Thur.

We lost one 6" maple in the wind.

I'm not a regular Kansas corn producer, but I was told Barton County, Kansas lost several circles of corn last night due to green snap.

Been lucky here so far - Hope that luck keeps running !  Don't look good for over night here thou . It's wet here to boot - 1.5 the other day , Then a nice shower yesterday - then rain tonight - then several days next week - We have second round spray for beans - then I have 3 custom jobs to do - Jim and Shag , may need you guys to head this way with your sprayers - : ))
