deer eating soybeans
I am having serious deer problems. Planted some farms over and over deer just keep eating them. I need some ideas to keep them out. I know a gun is best solution but that not a option. Landlord won't agree to that. What's some of the best deterrents?

Re: deer eating soybeans
You could try mothballs, I tried dryer sheets with limited success. A guy I know suggested wind chimes might scare the deer as well. I have a deer problem myself. I ask trusted hunters if they want to hunt lease free if they shoot does. Too many die hard hunters are only hunting for the antlers these days.

Re: deer eating soybeans
Home boys planting food plots on a big reserve behind us nearly put me and 2 other neighbors out of corn business.
Answer: Hot wire about 3 ft high at the area(s) of highest travel. Another 1 foot from the ground will keep out coons and dogs.
Dusk one evening last year, I saw several in a herd get struck, jump the wire and jump right back out and run away.
