"New Indiana" Weather

Forecasters are calling for sunshine and high temps in the upper 80's with an isolated T-boomer here and there the next several days in Central Kansas.  Couple that with the 9"+ rain we've received over the last 12 days and it all adds up to almost perfect growing conditions.  Downside, well the weeds on the bare wheat stubble fields are growing well too.  This location has definitely become the "New Indiana".

It's like 71f daytime here for a while. This weather is getting weird. Need sunshine to get heavy grain.

No humidity.. Kind of reminds me of October weather, but in july

Just remember shaggy, north a couple counties and it doesn't total that much...we are saving on chem

and application costs again this year   😉

I know Basset, I've got a buddy that just had to set up water tanks to haul water to his cattle in Northern Russell County, and that is only about 20-25 miles.
