starter fertilizer on soybeans
I was wondering if anyone uses dry starter fertilizer on soybeans?

Do you mean applying it next to the row when planting as in planting corn? I spread it with a cart every other year or so or every year after a super crop like we had last year. 15" rows

I have some clients who I custom drill for who use about 50 lbs/acre of MAP. Kinda makes me nervous doing it as the fertilizer goes in the trench with the seed, but so far, no problems with emergence. This is on sprinkler irrigated land.
