my neighbors and i are having trouble getting corn to dry in our in-bin dryers. what is different this year than years past i don't know but this is driving us nuts. any suggestions?
Rawhide - It could be the paracarp ( skin) on the corn is thicker from the dry summer you had = harder drying --we had that same deal here last fall - I can dry somewhere around 675 to 725 bph on 24 % corn - last year I could only get 325 to 375 an hour old of the old girl .
You may have to pull a load out of the center to let the air come up threw it faster - If that don't work then I would punt : )
