It`s a tad sandy, a lot of hog setups in the area, so it definitely is needed for some to apply manure. In my estimation, one year ago it would`ve brought $2,000 more. I don`t want to say much about this, being as real names are involved. But there are more land sales this spring, let`s say tight hands are loosening their grip. There are cases where the banker says "we`ll go along with you on a operating note, if you sell a 80 or quarter". Now if this was a couple years ago, some of today`s sellers might`ve been bidders.
