Re: Bird Flu Effecting Egg Prices and Availability
Respectfully, . Simply as fodder for conversation on what you...most correctly IMHO.....would your very first hand understanding of that ever move you, as a rather sizable contract grower for a foreign owned multiational corporation , to go on to the open isowean market or join a sow group or even build and operate farrwing facilities to run your own pigs thorugh your nurseries and then offer them on tehe open feeder pig market? Or find finishers for them?
That would be just about all you or thousands of others growing and feeding under contract could do. There are laws on the books in several states banning foreigners from owning land or livestock, and of course with also the Packers and Stockyards Act, a federal law that forbids meat packers, foreign or domestic, from owning livestock. Never cited. Never enforced. of course, but on the books nonetheless.

Re: Bird Flu Effecting Egg Prices and Availability
I see the paradigm of huge corporate control of American ag as entering its end game right now, unless major change takes place. Unlike young bucks who never did it any other way, I know how to do it without foreign masters.
Never plan to go into debt for anyone or anything again. We are " in our sixties" now. Not as hungry. Diversifying our asses off at present, but all out of pocket.
Stay tuned.

Fox " news " lol be serious man !
Yeah they may get a story or 2 that are right but that is to fool people that the next 8 or 10 stories are also accurate, and not filled with half truths, Full lies or other propganda.
They should never be a source for serious people.
My eggs are actually cheaper, thanks to the reduction in corn $$ 🙂

Re: Bird Flu Effecting Egg Prices and Availability
Fox News is wrong bashing Donald Trump, but most times they get it right, from what I hear, i don`t get Fox News. "If you want to annoy a conservative tell him a lie, if you want to annoy a liberal tell him the truth" and that is probably the the bone that liberals have to pick with any media to the right of the Huffing and Puffington Post.
