ABF turkey prices have went through the roof cause of AI. I think turkey poult supply will be a serious issue in the industy next year. Turkey stocks in cold storage at end of April was about 22% over year earlier. Next year is when the crap hits the ventilator, imho.

Our farm vet says the real risk is if there is a specie in north america that is a good carrier for AI. That is what they think is the situation in Asia. And North America has commingling sources indirectly with Asian birds if you look at migratory bird paths. I think the AI quit casue of temperature. It could very well flare up again in the fall. Very possible and very scary. Its probably here to stay.
