Farm management software

Would like some input on the different kinds of software and hardware that you are using. I have been reading about slingshot and john deere's new mobile devise. Seems there are lots of choices and as usual it's very diversified, how do you view all the different ways this can be accomplished. Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated. Lots of info but little on actual farmers and what they are using.

I've been using some software from ifarmservice.com. It is internet based and I use it on my ipad with a browser. It is pretty comprehensive. If you set it up and use it for all your work it produces a very nice profitability statement.  I don't need much else.
