Re: Fence disputes
He owns more land than anyone I know. His grave will be the same size as everyone else's....

Re: Fence disputes
Ha! I like the comment about his grave site being the same size as everybody elses. Just to be safe, I'd make sure he was inside a concrete burial vault to make sure he stays put. As I've gotten older (much older to be honest), I've found the old saying, "What goes around, comes around" to be very true. Sooner or later that kind of behavior catches up with you and I figure he'll get his just deserts.

Re: Fence disputes
To answer your question, if the smaller limbs are piled up with larger ones on top,. as it appears to me, then they started at the top. If those are the smaller limbs on top of the pile, then they started at the bottom.
I hope somebody got good legal advice first...that will be an expensive tree to replace, if it goes wrong.

Re: Fence disputes
Kind of obvious that the tree was there first, isn't it? Not that it matters these days.
Some cities have ordinances about trees blocking access to light for solar panels.
Curious as to what the ordinance is here for this situation, if one even exists.
Please keep us informed as to outcome.

Re: Fence disputes
We are pretty tolerant...don't care much what you do, as long as it doesn't invade our peace. We have tenants down the lane who are gay, others that have a very colorful cast of grown kids and their associates coming and going. No problems with them
Evidently, even that low a standard is too difficult for many folks to aspire to daily. I got so I felt like Mr. Wilson to the last couple's two-year-old child next door. She made a beeline for me, no matter what I was doing outdoors. She woukd bang out the doir, nit a soul watching her. I didn't go there to babysit.
Music at a quarter to two in the morning. Mike woke up and said, " Call the law, tell them to turn off the music and start packing their s#%t." We both decided the house was better employed as guestrooms and my glass studio.
